On September 29th, frontman and hitmaker Ryan Tedder, 37, opens up about working with Ariana and Stevie Wonder in a Billboard interview. Check it out below!

This has been a big year for you, but what was the highlight?
The thing that I’m probably the most proud of, other than finishing our album, happened about five weeks ago with Stevie Wonder and Ariana Grande. I did a song, “Faith,” for them to sing for an upcoming [animated] movie called Sing. Stevie came in around 6 p.m., Ariana arrived at 10, and we stayed up until 3 in the morning and talked music for hours.

Ariana Grande performs on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (09/08)

On September 8th, Ariana Grande gave a subdued, solo performance of her new single “Side to Side” featuring Nicki Minaj on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. When she reached Minaj’s verse, the singer showed off her own rapping skills whole rhyming out her frequent collaborator’s part.

Grande announced her upcoming Dangerous Woman tour and played the Best Friends Challenge with the host. The pair had to choose questions from a box and guess each other’s answers. They also talked about Hairspray Live, and her collaboration with Stevie Wonder called Faith on the upcoming animated movie Sing.
