Ariana Grande & Andrea Bocelli to perform at the 2016 Sanremo Festival

Just like every year, television network RAI is intending to invite big stars to perform as guests during the 2016 Sanremo Festival. It has been announced on December 9th that Andrea Bocelli and Ariana Grande confirmed to be guest acts in the event! It is most likely that the two stars will perform E Piu Ti Penso for the first time LIVE! It is unknown when the two stars will perform as it is a 5-day event!

Italian national broadcaster gears up for the 2016 edition of Sanremo Festival, the winner of which will be given the right to represent the country in the Eurovision Song Contest next May in Stockholm if he/she wants.

RAI already announced the Newcomers for the festival and in few weeks they will announce the Established participants in it.

Carlo Conti will host the show again and probably Il Volo will accompany him on stage. For sure, aside to Carlo Conti we will see Sabrina Ferilli and Monica Bellucci.

On October 9th, Ariana Grande’s team took it to her Facebook page and released information about the music video she has with Andrea Bocelli in E Piu Ti Penso. The music video for ‘E Piu Te Penso’ with Andrea Bocelli comes out next Tuesday Oct 13th on VEVO! On September 24th, the 27th studio album by Andrea Boticelli, Cinema,  has been put out on iTunes sa a pre-sale a month before its official release (October 23rd). The pre-sale included two instant downloads. One including the duet with Ariana Grande! Their song, E Più Ti Penso, which is influenced by classic music, is in Italian, and is a medley of the song Once Upon A Time in America/Malena.

Ariana Grande to feature in Andrea Bocelli’s upcoming album ‘Cinema’

Last week, an Italian press announced that Andrea Bocelli will be having an unexpected duet. It has been said in Italy that Ariana Grande will be appearing on Italian musician Andrea Bocelli’s upcoming album. He is one of the musical legends in Italy.

Grande has met Andrea Bocelli way back when they were performing onstage at the Stevie Wonder: Songs in the Key of Life Grammy special. Ariana was in Rome, Italy a few days ago to record the song with Andrea Bocelli and she also slipped in a few more projects, such as the cameo on “Zoolander 2”.

The information was confirmed by the advisor of Culture and Tourism of Rome, Giovanna Marinelli. According to Giovanna, Bocelli filmed a documentary of the recording of the duet while Ariana was in Rome. It isn’t confirmed if Ariana Grande was included in the scenes.

UPDATE: His album is titled Cinema and is influenced by many international classics from cinemas in French, English, Italian, Spanish, and Sicilian. “Cinema” will be released worldwide on October 23, and the duet with Ariana Grande is titled E Più Ti Penso, which is a medley of Once Upon A Time in America/Malena.
