Ryan Tedder talks working with Stevie Wonder & Ariana Grande with Billboard

On September 29th, frontman and hitmaker Ryan Tedder, 37, opens up about working with Ariana and Stevie Wonder in a Billboard interview. Check it out below!

This has been a big year for you, but what was the highlight?
The thing that I’m probably the most proud of, other than finishing our album, happened about five weeks ago with Stevie Wonder and Ariana Grande. I did a song, “Faith,” for them to sing for an upcoming [animated] movie called Sing. Stevie came in around 6 p.m., Ariana arrived at 10, and we stayed up until 3 in the morning and talked music for hours.

Britney Spears reacts to Ariana Grande’s SNL impression of her

Back in March, Grande hosted an episode of Saturday Night Live during which she impersonated famous personalities’ singing voices. The sketch — mocking music streaming service Tidal — saw the 23-year-old singer take on Spears’ “…Baby One More Time,” as well as hits by Shakira, Rihanna, and global icons Celine Dion and Whitney Houston.

But during an interview with London’s KISS FM UK radio station this week, Britney Spears was asked about Ariana’s impression. After being played the recording of Grande’s impression, Brit gave some faint praise: “That’s funny,” she conceded. “That’s really funny, wow.” But when she was asked if she thought the rising pop star had done her justice, she ultimately admitted, “I’ve heard better.”

Mac Miller talks Ariana Grande on The Divine Feminine with Vogue

On September 27th, an interview with Mac Miller and Vogue has been released and he talks about Ariana Grande. Check out the excerpts where he gets asked about Ariana!

But the song that has gotten the most attention is the jazzy R&B track “My Favorite Part, ” in which Miller duets with Ariana Grande. A few weeks before the song came out, TMZ outed them as a couple with grainy photos of the two kissing on a dinner date. Grande recently made their relationship Instagram official with a post that has garnered more than 1 million likes. “A lot of people think it’s a whole album about her,” he said. “And I get it. It makes sense. But ‘My Favorite Part’ was actually one of the last songs we made [on the album].”

Though he’s quick to deny his new record is all about his burgeoning relationship with Grande, Miller spends most of our coffee date gushing like a man who’s head over heels. “I think a lot of times people just want to be cool, and to be in love is not cool,” he said. “But I think it’s the coolest. I think love is the coolest thing that there is.” Over four-shot espressos at The Smile, Miller opened up about The Divine Feminine, his newfound sobriety, Grande, and why he’s in the best place he’s ever been.

Did Ariana have any influence musically on the album?
A lot of people think it’s a whole album about her. And I get it. It makes sense. But “My Favorite Part” was one of the last songs we made. I had talked about doing a record with her for the album. We hadn’t talked in a really long time, and I bring her this song, and then we go to the studio and do her part. And then, after that. . . . we started spending more time together.

Her voice introduces the whole album, but who are the other women on the first track?
It’s [Ariana], and then Chloe Clancy, who’s my manager’s daughter, she’s now 9 and she’s been this symbol of innocence in my life that has been this guiding light. Whatever I do—because I’ve been in my own form of destruction—I have to keep it together for her. And the other voice is Kilo Kish, who is just such a creator and pure and an incredible soul. And her voice puts me in that place; she’s very cerebral to me. The album ends with my grandma finishing the whole thing with a true actual love story; a real one that I’ve cried listening to. When that came on, I was just sitting there bawling.

Is she psyched about being on the album?
She’s actually not. She’s embarrassed because she thinks that she talks for too long and it’s the cutest thing ever. She’s like, “I’ve ruined the whole album.” And I’m like, “No, you’re the best part.” I joke around and tell her she’s getting nominated for an American Music Award for Best Interlude.

Let’s talk about “My Favorite Part,” your song with Ariana. Did you write this song when you were together?
Obviously the emotion that we’re singing with is real. I’m big about things on music that I make being authentic. But the funny thing is that we made that song before we even got together. We were friends.

But there was obviously something there between the two of you.
Well yeah, obviously. It’s just interesting; all this stuff comes at a weird time, because I’m not trying to sit here and market my relationship, but I’m not trying to not talk about that song. That song is beautiful and it’s an aspect about my life. I’m still trying to figure out how to navigate [talking about my relationship]. It’s tricky. But as long as I’m honest, I’m good with it.

Did you write that song always with her in mind to sing it?
For sure.

So you had an agenda?
[Laughs.] The agenda wasn’t—I didn’t think this was going to happen.

Are you worried at all about all the attention your relationship with Ariana is getting?
My main thing is that my life is going to continue to be my life. I think that I’m not going to get involved in it. It’s there, cool. But we’re low-key. If we’re going to go to dinner, we’re going to go to dinner. And let the world speak, say whatever. That stuff is just its own thing. It’s different for me, but it has nothing to do with us, it’s its own separate thing.

Mac Miller talks working with Ariana Grande with Rolling Stone

On September 19th, an interview with Mac Miller by Rolling Stone was released, and he talks about working with girlfriend Ariana Grande who appeared on his album with Congratulations & My Favorite Part.

Last year, after moving into a Brooklyn apartment with his then-girlfriend, Miller began to delve into one of music’s most dissected topics: love. “It’s not just talking about trying to pursue a girl or talking about falling in love,” Miller, who is reportedly now dating longtime pal Ariana Grande, says of new album The Divine Feminine, a smooth and sexy affair, and undoubtedly his jazziest and most musically adventurous release yet. “It’s how it affects you and affects your life.”

What first began as a fun side project soon blossomed into a full-length effort. “I’m just balls deep in the whole creation process this time,” Miller says of his new LP, which features guest spots from the likes of Grande, Kendrick Lamar and, on his bouncy feel-good single “Dang!,” Anderson Paak. Miller, a longtime independent artist who signed a multi-million dollar deal in 2014 with Warner Bros., says he’s past the point of worrying about public perception. “I’ve realized I’m young as fuck,” the MC says in a conversation that touches on the expanding creative boundaries of hip-hop, learning to be his own boss and why Grande reminds him of Michael Jackson. “I don’t have to rush and scream to everyone, ‘Guys! I can do this!’ I would kill myself if I do the same thing for the rest of my life.”

You go way back with Ariana Grande: You appeared on her breakout single “The Way” and now she’s on “My Favorite Part.” It’s not as poppy a track as one might expect.
I reached out to her and said I wanted her to be a part of the album. It’s just like the whole thing with Kendrick: When you hear me and Kendrick are on a song, you think it’s gonna be Kendrick rapping. When you think me and Ariana on a song, you’re gonna think “Oh, this is like ‘The Way.’ It’s gonna be some big pop song.” But it’s not. Like I said, people are so much more capable and can do so much more than what their quote-unquote identity has them listed as. If you give her any canvas to paint on she’s going to paint a very beautiful picture. That was a song I felt like her voice would be awesome on and she killed it. She hits that Michael Jackson run and it’s like, “Oh!”

Mac Miller reveals his relationship status with Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande called him ‘boo’ at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards, confirming Mac Miller’s relationship with the singer. But when did it all start?

The rapper reached out to Grande when he thought she would be a great artist to feature on the track “My Favorite Part” on his fourth album The Divine Feminine (out Friday).

“I wrote that love song before I saw her. We’re very good friends first and foremost,” Miller told PEOPLE at the taping of the AT&T Audience Network Presents series on September 12. “We made that song and started becoming close again. It’s very dope and I like how that worked out.”

Miller, 24, and Grande, 23, had previously collaborated on her hit song “The Way”, so it wasn’t the first time they’d worked together, but in this session it was like no time had passed.

The two performed “My Favorite Part” at the weekly music series and their chemistry was fierce. At the end of the song, Grande shook Miller’s hand, as though to thank him jokingly for doing business with her, and walked off stage.

“Pleasure working with you,” he said, to which she replied: “I’ll be in touch.”

After the cameras stopped rolling, Grande went back on stage to put her hands on his shoulders and they shared a sweet moment. She cupped his face in her hands, leaned in and kissed him, at which point Miller kissed her right back.

The two love making music and spending as much time together as they can, so it makes sense that the relationship was a natural progression of their friendship.

“We hung out for a long time and everything just happened organically. We love making music together – we do that always. But she’s my best friend in the world.”

And Miller enjoys their time together on stage as well. “We’ve performed together a lot – when “The Way” came out, we did all the shows,” he said. “We’re both relaxed – we just have fun. And everybody gets an ‘awww’ moment.”

The “awww” really comes in when he describes Grande to others.

“She’s just very warm and comforting,” he said. “She’s very caring but, also, we have a lot of fun. We go on adventures. Adventures can be driving around in the car aimlessly. It’s great to be able to do nothing and be doing so much.”

Mac Miller talks collaboration with Ariana Grande in The Divine Feminine

On August 17th, Mac Miller had an interview with Milk Studios about his upcoming album The Divine Feminine, and he talks about collaborating with Ariana!

The Divine Feminine is the upcoming fourth studio album by American rapper Mac Miller. It is scheduled to be released on September 16, 2016

Check out the interview below:

So you just released a song with Anderson .Paak, you’ve got a song with Kendrick Lamar, and you’ve collaborated with a ton of other artists. Who was your favorite person to collaborate with on The Divine Feminine

There’s a song on there with Ariana [Grande] that’s really, really tight. I’m singing the whole time and the difference in both of us from when we were younger [in 2013] to now? We’ve both grown so much. [The song is] very vulnerable for me too because it’s me just singing, straight-up.

Was it intimidating to sing with her?

No, our voices sound really good [together]! She’s going to be an incredible singer [because] her voice can do anything. My voice? I emote very well and it’s very raw and real. It’s like, “Oh shit you can sing.” I’m self-conscious about it but it’s my favorite thing to do.

Just a week ago, the two artists surprised fans with the Into You Remix! This isn’t their only collaboration, as they teamed up together in Ariana’s first hit single The Way back in 2013. What do you guys think about another song by the two stars?

Pre-show Interview

Ariana Grande & Meghan Trainor to work with Harry Styles on more new music

Besides working for his own new music album, Harry Styles is busy making music with the “Focus” singer Ariana Grande and the “Dear Future Husband” singer Meghan Trainor for their new songs.

According to a report from Digital Spy, Styles is busy in making his own upcoming album. However, all the music tracks are not his own decisions. Based on the source, the album tracks include songs written for Ariana Grande as well as Trainor. Styles collaborated and worked with Johnny McDaid of Snow Patrol and Gary Go for the tracks titled “Endlessly,” “Coco,” “Already Home,” and “5387 Miles,” of his new album.

Styles also worked with McDaid alone in at least four more tracks of the album. It is also expected that the song “Make it Feel Right,” which Styles wrote and recorded in collaboration with the Irish band Kodaline in 2014, could be included in the new album.

Hopefully, this means that Harry has written some songs for Ariana’s upcoming album, Dangerous Woman. This wouldn’t be their first collaboration. Harry wrote Just a Little Bit of Your Heart for Ms. Grande’s sophomore album, My Everything. Back then, Ariana gushed about Harry’s songwriting and said that he managed to make her cry. She said, “I remember when I heard it I was like ‘Wow that’s a really strong verse, that’s really beautiful’ and then the [pre-chorus], I was like ‘wow that’s a really beautiful pre, that’s a really strong pre!’ and then the chorus I was like crying!”

There’s also the possibility that Harry has recorded a romantic duet for his solo debut. That’s at least according to chart-topping star Meghan Trainor, who co-wrote a track with the 1D heartthrob last year. ”It’s real! It’s a duet. It’s a beautiful song we wrote together on my ukulele,” the ‘All About That Bass’ singer said. “We even recorded a rough demo together with our vocals together. It’s a cute acoustic love thing.”

Based on a report from Inquisitr, Harry Styles writes music enthusiastically. Indeed, his inner artistic thought could come out as something that could make other feel jealous, or could be a frustrating thing for him. In either means, it seems that the former One Direction member is struggling a little.

However, we are definitely not aware of his actual inner struggle to reach his music passion or goal. It seems that Styles’ music is turning to be more serious and solitary nature. In fact, this could probably not because of his own decision, but as the result of his collaboration with others.

Indeed, Harry Styles is missing social life or social activities nowadays, as he is busy with his passion to become a better & professional singer/ songwriter.

Ariana Grande and Michael Buble to possibly release a duet

Just when you think the news about Ariana’s SNL performance couldn’t get any better. Later on February 25th, rumours have been spiralling after Michael Buble tweet that he has recorded a duet with an artist. The photo tweeteded included a person with a bear onesie facing away from the camera.

It is no doubt that Ariana Grande is the lady behind that adorable onesie! Who else is the ‘hottest and most talented artist in the universe’ right now?! We have seen her wearing that outfit during one of her Meet & Greets at the Honeymoon Tour!

Nathan Sykes talks about reuniting with Ariana Grande in ‘Over and Over Again’

On February 4th, an article from Billboard was posted, where Nathan Sykes was interviewed. He takled about collaborating with Ariana Grande once again. Check out the article below:

While Nathan Sykes has landed two top five hits on Billboard‘s Dance Club Songs chart over the past year, don’t expect to find the singer jamming out to his own music on the dance floor.

He topped the dance chart back in August with “Kiss Me Quick” and just climbed up to No. 3 with the remix of “Over and Over Again,” his lush duet with Ariana Grande. The latter was actually released in the U.K. last year, but Sykes had a feeling his old friend could add something special to the ballad.

“I sat there listening to the song when it came on the radio in the U.K., and I said, ‘You know who’d sound great on this?’ — it was just a really random thought — ‘Ariana. She’d sound fantastic on this song.’ And obviously, we’d done ‘Almost Is Never Enough’before, on her debut album Yours Truly, and that’s where I met my executive producer Harmony Samuels. He’s just fantastic. And that’s who I wrote ‘Over and Over Again’ with. So it’s kind of come full-circle. She was really up for it, and she went in and put down an amazing, just beautiful vocal.”
